MID MOTOR mounted between pedals
Many eBikes use a hub motor in the wheel because it’s cheaper. It’s also far less efficient.
FLX uses a “mid-motor” mounted between the pedals. This allows the motor to take mechanical advantage of the 9 speed Shimano gears.
Ultimately, giving you a smoother, more powerful ride.
hydraulic disc brakes
eBikes are much more powerful than normal bikes. For safety as well as performance, every FLX bike includes hydraulic disc brakes.

I first tried the flx attack on the hooker dam loop in Taupo. This loop is 42km long and i was very impressed not only by the battery consumption, but also by the performance of the bike on this track. I had the motor power set to level 2 and only used approx 30% of the battery! With front and rear shocks, not only was this a comfortable ride, but i was also able to throw the bike round corners and over rises at incredible speed. This is a very fun bike to ride.
